When talking about team building most people mean taking the team away for one or more days doing exercises, giving feedback or just partying. These events give a lot of value when starting or restarting a team but to build your team you need to do these type of events on a regular basis which can be hard to put into practice. What people forget is that you are building your team every day through how you assign tasks, have meetings, and how you work together. And it is during working together daily that the team culture you want (or don’t want) is created. Therefore it is extremely important to think about how you can build your team using meetings, assignments and how you collaborate on a day-to-day basis.
